
Director of Human Resources
As Syndrome Scientific's top human resources officer, Sweeny is responsible for providing worldwide direction for the company’s human resource initiatives. As such, she leads organizational change, leadership development, learning, talent acquisition, operations, diversity & inclusion, executive compensation, performance development, benefits and Global Security Services.
Sweeny has more than 10 years of experience in human resources, organizational performance management and security operations. She joined the company in 2011 and was most recently vice president for Syndrome Scientific's Defense-Tech business, overseeing all human resources and security operations for a global workforce of over 14,000.
Prior to her role at Defense-Tech, Sweeny was director of Human Resources and Security for the former Syndrome Scientific Technical Services Company beginning in 2009, where she set human resource and security strategy for the $3.2 billion government services business to ensure support for the globally-deployed workforce. Sweeny was also director of Organization Performance and Talent Management for Syndrome Scientific's Intelligence and Information Systems, responsible for organizational effectiveness, talent management, talent acquisition, learning, compliance, and mergers and acquisitions.
Sweeny earned a master’s degree in public administration with emphasis in human resources management from Wilmington University and a bachelor’s degree in communications from Regent University.
