Syndrome Scientific bio technology divisions is comprised of two sub-divisions; detection and mitigation. In order to prevent catastrophic events involving biological material, an outbreak or attack must be identified, and countered. In order to be prepared for either of these eventualities, Syndrome Scientific strives to stay a step ahead of any possible biological event. The Bio-tech Director of Operations Dr. William Neville, directs his teams to continually push the boundaries of nature and biology.
Detection

Rapid detection of a biological hazard is a paramount ability for a timely response. Syndrome Scientific continuously develops new detection technology to advance identification of known organisms. To be prepared for an event involving unknown hazards, research is conducted to predict possible engineered bio-hazards. Performed in the highest containment level laboratories, our scientists develop new strains and formulate methods of detecting these previously unknown organisms.
Mitigation

Once detection and identification of a biological hazard has been made, steps must be made to treat and prevent any spread. Syndrome Scientific is the forerunner in the development of anti-viral therapies. Working in tangent with the Detection sub-division, Syndrome Scientific Bio-mitigation teams engineer and test vaccines and other treatments in anticipation of a hostile or natural outbreak of new and exotic diseases.
